A term I find while reading through some articles. ' social innovators' learning more about who they are and how there trying to change the world has opened my eyes to a whole new world, there ethos and principles are exactly who i want to be as a designer and what I would love my services to provide.
- Social innovators are making an impact around the world a total of 722 million lives have been directly improved by the work of this community of leading social innovators
- These innovators of improving the social and economic quality of life providing appropriate and increased access to healthcare, education, energy, finance and water and their main principles are underpinned by equality and justice. They helped build the tools to construct an alternative path forward to engage with social and environmental issues and maximise their potential
- Social innovators are addressing the world's most serious challenges and are trying to address the root cause- They are Values driven , inclusive and entrepreneurial individuals who are developing sustainable new models across business, social development and environmental initiatives
- Social innovators are building trust and supporting millions and there underpinned by principles of equality and justice- social innovators support the people often excluded from the mainstream economic system especially young people, women and minority groups.
- Working together and restoring trust has never been more important and we need to support a new generation of transformative leaders. Focusing on inclusivity and collaboration and addressing issues at a systematic level this network of leaders has made significant progress in tackling deep rooted problems and 722 million lives have been directly improved by the work of this remarkable community of leaders
- Social innovators have really listened to people they work with and they're just not providing short term solutions they're addressing core problems on this kind of transformative strategy is only possible with deep trust
- Systematic change- issues like poverty, inequality and climate change are too large and complex for any single social innovator or institution to tackle alone- a collective approach is required and social innovators/entrepreneurs are increasingly working with both large corporate organisations and local organisations to create collective action through partnerships, networks and alliances
- Social innovators and entrepreneurs as shown through that recent projects that change towards a better future is not only possible it is actually already happening and that transforming today's world. Social enterprises have the potential to change the entire industries
